Family coaching is a space where we explore the relationships, dynamics, and patterns that shape everyday family life. It is not about fixing anyone — it is about creating more connection, clarity, and collaboration.
Whether you are navigating blended dynamics, co-parenting, or simply feeling stretched between work and home, coaching helps you step back, reflect, and make more intentional choices. We work together to strengthen communication, improve understanding, and create more balance — both within your relationships and in how you move through life as a family.
-
Family coaching can improve communication, rebuild trust, and bring clarity to roles and expectations. It helps family members understand each other better, resolve tension more constructively, and create a shared vision for how they want to live and grow together.
For many of the families I work with, coaching also supports better work-life balance — helping you set boundaries, manage stress, and create rhythms that honour both your family and professional commitments.
-
We start by understanding your family’s unique context and what you would like to shift or strengthen. Sessions may involve individual conversations, small group dialogues, or full family meetings — depending on what feels appropriate and useful.
Often, we also explore how work and family life impact each other. I help you build strategies for navigating competing priorities and finding balance — without losing sight of what matters most.
-
Therapy often focuses on healing emotional wounds or addressing mental health challenges. Family coaching, on the other hand, focuses on growth, connection, and communication in the present. As a coach, I do not diagnose or treat — I help families reflect, realign, and move forward with more clarity and compassion.
-
It depends on your goals and what feels sustainable for your family. Some families find clarity in a few sessions, while others choose to work together over a longer period. Typically, I recommend starting with a package of 5 sessions, with flexibility to adapt as we go. Each family is different — the process is always co-created.
-
Look for someone who brings both professional training and emotional presence. A good family coach creates a space where everyone feels safe, heard, and respected. It is also important that the coach understands the unique dynamics you are facing — especially if you are part of a blended family or navigating transitions. Trust your intuition and choose someone who feels both grounded and non-judgmental.
